Getting started with Porter is an easy 3 step process: create a Porter Vendor account, sign in to your existing Square account and connect Porter with your existing Square account. Here's how...
- Create a Porter Vendor account by completing the simple form (or signing up with your existing Google email) at app.orderwithporter.com/vendor-signup. Click the purple "Continue" button once all information has been provided.
- Once you've verified your email by clicking on the link emailed to you, click on the "Connect Square" button. Sign in to your existing Square account when prompted. (IMPORTANT NOTES: If you are already logged into your Square account, you won't need to log in again. If you have two square accounts for different businesses, please make sure you are logged into the account you want to connect with Porter. If you do NOT have a Square account, select the "Sign up" option after clicking the "Connect Square" button to create a free Square account.)
- Allow Porter to connect with your Square account by pressing the blue "Allow" button. This will allow you to toggle existing catalog items on and off your Porter menus, send orders placed through Porter directly to your Square POS terminal, and process payment for all Porter orders through your existing Square account.
Once you press the blue "Allow" button, Porter connects with your Square account and in a few seconds, you will see a success message. Press the purple "Go To Dashboard" button and you will be taken directly to your new Porter Merchant Dashboard!
From here you are ready to toggle items on your Porter menu, create group menus by joining with other Porter vendors, and delight your customers with an amazing online ordering experience.
