Keeping your Porter menu up to date with only items you currently want to offer your customers is easily managed in your Porter Vendor Dashboard. Here's how...
- Sign in to your Porter Vendor Dashboard at app.orderwithporter.com/login.
- Click "Edit" next to "Active Items" within the location you wish to update.
- Select the check box for each variant, item, subcategory, or category you want to make available (or toggle off) on your Porter menu.
- Use the up/down carrots (^ and ˇ) next to each category, subcategory, or item to reveal or hide subcategories, items, or variants nested within each category, subcategory, or item.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: toggling an item on (or off) will toggle on (or off) ALL variants for that item for both "Pickup" and "Destination" delivery options. If you want to make an item available for ONLY "Pickup" or ONLY "Destination" you will need to make those selections by individual variant.
Helpful hints:
- You can easily toggle all variants for all items within a category (or subcategory) "On" (or "Off") by selecting the checkbox next to the category (or subcategory) name.
- You can easily toggle on (or off) specific variants within an item by selecting ONLY that variant. The same is true for specific items within a category or subcategory.
- If you have items within a category toggled on--but the category itself is toggled off, no items will appear on your menu. So, please make sure that BOTH the category check box and the relevant item checkboxes are activated.
- If you have a very large catalog, you can use the "CRL-F" approach to look for specific items. (Just make sure you've expanded the category or item list so individual items and variants are visible.)
