Issuing refunds for orders placed through Porter is handled the same way as any other order processed through your Square POS
Issue full or partial refunds for orders placed through Porter through your Square POS dashboard or by logging into your Square Merchant account at Squareup.com.Issuing a refund through the Square POS app
- From the "Transactions" screen > Choose the order you'd like to refund
- Click "Issue Refund"
- Select items to be refunded OR for a partial refund: select "amount" and enter the amount you'd like to refund
- Select the payment method to refund to, and then select the reason for the refund
Issuing a refund through Square's website
- Log into your merchant account at Squareup.com
- Navigate to your Dashboard Squareup.com/dashboard
- Navigate to Orders squareup.com/dashboard/orders/overview
- Click on the order you'd like to refund. Select the triple dots in the top right and select
- From the Transaction page, select the triple dots in the top right and select "Issue Refund"
- Select items that you'd like to refund and then select "Refund Items," OR
for partial refunds: navigate to "Refund Amount," enter an amount, and select "Issue Refund."
