Setting up a digital menu link in Porter
To configure a URL link for your digital display menus, first you need to navigate to your Digital Menu Setup page. Navigate to your Dashboard > click the Hamburger Menu in the top right > Digital Menus > click Location Name... OR navigate to your Dashboard > Location (edit) > Digital Menu.
From the Digital Menu Setup page, you can configure color settings and hide specific categories. Changing any of the dropdowns instantly updates the link.
**NOTE** the "customize link" settings change the URL link above. If you start to use the link and then would like to make customization changes, you will need to re-copy and paste the new link from this page.
The "copy" button (circled above) will copy the URL of your digital menu to your clipboard. You can then use this URL to access the digital menu on whichever device is powering your static display menus (IE a computer connected to a projector display, or smart tv set to display a static URL link).
One you navigate to the URL link, you can control the scale, number of columns, and current page by hovering at the top of the page to reveal the toolbar.
